People asked for a Mazda 3 with more power: The 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo review

Black wheels, wing mirrors, and a black spoiler are the only visual cues that you’re looking at a Mazda 3 Turbo.

I’ll be honest, I prefer the Mazda 3 hatch to the sedan. But they drive the same.

Sadly, Mazda took almost as few pictures of the Mazda 3 Turbo as I managed, but this is what the hatch looks like when painted Polymetal Grey Metallic (not available on the sedan).

Mazda went for a much more premium interior with this generation 3. It’s elegant and restrained, and the infotainment system ditched touchscreens for controls on the center console.

I remember when engine bays were something to look at.

I only had this car for about 24 hours, and they had to pry me out of this seat.

Since there were so few images, here’s one of a naturally aspirated Mazda 3 sedan I drove this spring. I had been meaning to write up the experience, but it kept slipping off the to-do list.

During the summer I also spent a few days with a naturally aspirated Mazda 3 hatch. Isn’t this car pretty?
