The Transit van is Europe’s answer to the Ford F-150. It’s a ubiquitous work vehicle, and an all-electric version is coming to the US and Canada in 2022.
A Transit can do pretty much everything a pickup truck can do. See? Don’t these workmen look happy with their van?
But a Transit can do a few more things, as well. Like keep rain and snow off whatever cargo it is you need to carry.
Like a pickup truck, you can get a Transit in different body styles. This is the cutaway chassis. You’ll be able to get one of these with an electric powertrain in 2022 as well.
This may be a surprise to learn, but vans are also more than capable of towing stuff. The electric transit will be able to tow stuff, too.
